Birthdays + Lovey Quilts

We had a big birthday weekend, celebrating two birthdays. First Colleen attended Brynn's 8th birthday party; it was the British Baking Show themed.

 

 

While Colleen was celebrating Brynn's birthday and Amelia was at ballet, Austin and Patrick went on an adventure, walking from Hendry's Beach for a long time until they called me to pick them up at Shoreline Park.

 

On Sunday afternoon, we celebrated Tate's first birthday.

 

The kids' project for the past few weeks was sewing lovey quilts for their friends. They worked hard designing and sewing them. They spent so much time and put a lot of heart into each one.

 

 

Grateful for the community God has given us in California.

Harbor Seal Pups & Tar Pits

We went on a field trip to see the Harbor Seal pups in Carpenteria, followed by the tar pits.

The weather was magnificent this day, and the views were gorgeous.
