November has a lot of school days off due to the state teacher conventions; we took advantage of those days to be with friends!
Amelia had a doctor's appointment down in Princeton so she and I spent a morning there; we ended with a special cupcake treat at this amazing cupcake shop.
Our friend Michelle watched Austin & Colleen for the morning while Amelia and I were in Princeton. They have a lot of land and these big electric vehicles. I showed up to Austin zooming all over, up and down the hills. They gave Amelia some turns too.
George and Austin had requested a "pajama playdate" beforehand so we agreed to let them stay in their pjs all day. Too bad they didn't tell the other friends who spent the morning with them.
We spent another day off of school with friends - Cora, Gared & Charlie. The six kids played SO well for the entire morning, most of it outside in the cold.
So glad to have Daddy home in the middle of more weeks of travel!
We pulled out some baby toys before our friend Maria came to dinner with her parents, Carla & Diogo. All of the kids thought the baby toys were for them!
Moms get things done in whatever way possible. So our church's children's ministry director, missions committee director and myself all held a business meeting one afternoon at Suzy's house. Ian & Colleen played, baby Maisie slept and plans for 2019 were made. It's amazing how much can get done not on a Sunday!
