Grammie & Pappy came to spend a few days with the kids before traveling to Maryland. They worked on autumn-themed art projects after school.
Lots of reading
Grammie was able to see the kids skating.
We took a fun outing to Ikea for a day. The kids don't remember our biannual visits pre-COVID, so they had fun exploring the showrooms.
They figured out that they could see each other through multiple reflections in the mirror section.
Watching Newark runways while eating lunch.
Amelia asked for a fancy hair style before church.
I had it on my list as we studied Medieval history to take the kids to Medieval Times; we surprised them with a late lunch and show while Grammie & Pappy were here.
We were to cheer for the yellow & red knight!
A meal with no silverware was right up his alley.
The falconer was super fun to watch, especially after our visit to the Raptor Center the previous month.
