We had a few big activities planned to fill up our first weekend without Daddy. On Saturday, we headed to Duke Farms to meet two other friends and their kids. We met up at the visitor's center where a volunteer was educating the kids on the property's bald eagle nest and current inhabitants. Then we headed out to trek to the Orchid House and Carriage Barn. There was lots of tree climbing, running and playing and all-purpose having fun among the 9 kids (and 3 mamas!)
After we returned home and got everyone shower, I introduced the kids to Schoolhouse Rock. I consider it an essential part of their education.
On Sunday, after I taught at church, we rushed to Viaan's birthday party at Imagine That, a kid's indoor play area. The kids enjoyed the pizza & cake, a magic show & puppet show, and playing all throughout the area.
So tired from skipping nap and playing hard.
Proud of another puzzle done!
She doesn't realize that Mom removed the battery pack; so she can play with the snap circuits as much as she wants without fear of damaging it.
